Nina's 2006 West Coast Tour

On November 2 I attended the grand re-opening of the Griffith Observatory in LA.

It's a stunning building...

...with incredible LA views.

Ian, my site's webmaster and an old pal from Santa Cruz, was kind enough to drive me from LA to Portland and points between.

The new inside of the Observatory was super-cool too.
Here I am with Albert Einstein (left, bronzed) pondering the amount of night sky hidden by an index finger.

Of course I thought the way-most-awesomest part was seeing my own animation in the permanent exhibits.
Here I am in front of "Seasons." I did the moving art in that circle at the top.

I did that one too, for "Day and Night".

And "Moon Phases".

"Tides" in the Bay of Fundy? ME.

Here's me and Nancy Haffner from RBH Multimedia, the "client from heaven."
