Wow

I got a Guggenheim Fellowship for Sita Sings the Blues. I am beyond grateful. It's still sinking in. Thank you, Guggenheim Foundation!

Comments:

Congratulations! My whole family loves Sita (my 1 year old laughs when Hanuman sets the demons on fire, my 5 year old sings the music when he is trying to sleep.) Keep up the great work.

Congratulations on your grant, Nina. Your work continues to inspire me year after year, long after I gave up the fields of inky splendor to go work in the vast nothin'-land that is television.

Long live Sita!
