Public Cervix Announcement

Why wasn't I shown this important PSA growing up? It would have kept me out of a lot of trouble. I might even still be married!

Comments:

ROFLMAO!

My favorite line was, "Look at these venomous harridans." (Hm, maybe I should rename my blog...)

Sheer awesomeness.

As a man, differing opinions confuse and frighten me. ;-)

I thought at first this might be satire, then they showed the brains filling with information and I knew it was...
science!
Now I'm convinced.

This brought tears to my eyes in more ways than one.

Everyone wonders why the Late Sixties happened, but you have to understand, as a little boy, I grew up on a non-stop diet of these types of films on TV, as there wasn't enough programming to fill the available air time then.

Mom was a Rosie the Riveter who built Norden bombsights for B-17's and bought the house I grew up in while Dad was in the Pacific getting shot up for 50 bucks a month. Both were blacklisted Commies when Wally Reuther purged the UAW to please McCarthy in the Fifties.

You would have loved her commentaries on this sort of bilge. It pervaded US society entirely right up until Jefferson Airplane came out with "Gotta Revolution" in 1967 or so.

You know how you can tell a late-Sixties leftover? If they can remember the late Sixties, they weren't there! Peace, love..duh, where's my brain?!

P.S. Try separate bedrooms. Worked for my incompatible parents for 50 years. Everyone needs time apart to themselves once in a while.
